Common questions

FAQ

Do you provide instant appraisals?

No. Jennifer personally reviews each item. The website never automatically provides an appraisal, estimate, offer, consignment price, or expected proceeds.

What area do you serve?

Phase 1 serves Macomb County, Michigan. Pickup, inspection, delivery, and service availability depend on the item and location.

What items do you consider?

Jennifer considers useful furniture, décor, tools, outdoor and seasonal goods, collectibles, selected testable appliances/electronics, sporting and storage goods, and ordinary children’s clothing, toys, books, and décor.

What items are prohibited?

Safety-critical or recalled children’s products, mattresses and unsanitary goods, weapons, regulated or hazardous goods, counterfeit or stolen goods, titled property, and items Jennifer cannot safely authenticate or handle are excluded.

How does consignment work?

Approved items use a written agreement. The standard split is 60% consignor / 40% Home to Home Exchange, or 65% / 35% for items selling at $500 or more, with a 60-day initial term.

How do reservations work?

A request does not reserve an item until Jennifer confirms it. An unpaid reservation normally expires after four hours; a paid hold normally expires after 24 hours unless otherwise agreed in writing.
